Man arrested, 3 stolen vehicles recovered in Auburn

Auburn Police recovered a few stolen vehicles Wednesday, and arrested the male suspected of getting them.

Officers had been referred to as to stories of a stolen white 2022 Mercedes-Benz that early morning. Dispatch explained the driver of the stolen automobile experienced now been contacted by an additional company all over 8 a.m., but the suspect sped off and officers did not go after.

Auburn officers located the suspect in the parking great deal of the Mallard Pointe condominium complicated, on 45th St NE off Auburn Way N. Police say the suspect was not in the Mercedes, but was in an unlicensed Chevrolet Suburban close by.

Officers arrested the suspect, but also seen a 3rd unlicensed vehicle—a Honda SUV—parked involving the Mercedes and Chevy. A verify of the car or truck identification figures confirmed all three have been reported stolen, according to law enforcement.

The three cars were recovered, and because the suspect was physically viewed in two of the cars and trucks, officers booked him into the King County Jail on two counts of possession of a stolen car, as perfectly as other arrest warrants.
