Lab technician held after gay partner dies- The New Indian Express

BENGALURU: A lab technician operating with a reputed healthcare facility in the city was arrested for the dying of his 24-yr-outdated gay associate. The accused and deceased, the two from Tamil Nadu, ended up reportedly in a relationship for the past four years, and would generally meet up with in lodges in the city.

On July 4, the technician, Tamilu Manivannan, had booked a home for a day at Loosen up Lodge in Marathahalli, and invited his partner, Rajagopal. It is suspected that Rajagopal died through a sexual act, and Tamilu locked the area from exterior and fled. As the room remained locked, nevertheless the booking was not prolonged, home boys applied a spare vital to go in on July 7, and observed the useless person.      

The lodge staff submitted a criticism with the jurisdictional Marathahalli law enforcement. Based on CCTV footage and particulars furnished at the time of scheduling the home, law enforcement managed to nab the accused. “Both the men were earlier doing work in a hospital in Tamil Nadu, and ongoing their romantic relationship even immediately after relationship. Even so, their marriages broke up after their wives learnt about their partnership. Tamilu later on moved to Bengaluru and started off working below. He would frequently book rooms at diverse lodges and invite Rajagopal,” said an officer who is part of investigations.

“The victim was not murdered. He is suspected to have died while the two of them were involved in a sexual act. A scenario of culpable homicide, not amounting to murder, beneath Segment 304 IPC, was registered. The accused was remanded in judicial custody,” S Girish, DCP, Whitefield division, instructed TNIE. Marathahalli law enforcement are investigating.
