AfriSam empowers local entrepreneurs | Roodepoort Record

 

AfriSam (a provider of design materials) presented cost-free enterprise competencies schooling to 24 regional business owners. Their graduation ceremony was held on Friday, 28 June at the AfriSam Business enterprise Development Centre.

As component of the company’s Company Development Programme, the graduates effectively concluded a four-months business expertise programme intended to assist entrepreneur and business entrepreneurs near to its Roodepoort and Eikenhof operations in Gauteng.

“At AfriSam, we recognize that rising little, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) is important for broadening economic participation and delivering on our country’s financial growth objectives” explained Jabu Motlhako, Business and Provider Enhancement Qualified at AfriSam

According Jabu, AfriSam’s Organization and Supplier Advancement Programme identifies, empowers and enhances the capacities of black-owned SMMEs that function in close proximity to the company’s functions. An additional vital intention of the programme is to give the business people with the required support and establish them to expand their companies and ultimately be incorporated in AfriSam’s databases of registered suppliers.

AfriSam picked 24 black SMMEs from communities shut to its Eikenhof and Roodepoort operations for the instruction programme.
