Wake Tech cuts ribbon on multi-million dollar automotive center

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — Amid a countrywide shortage of automobile experts, Wake Tech Neighborhood Faculty opened the doorways to a new, state-of-the-artwork facility designed to pump far more professionals into the business.

Gov. Roy Cooper and other elected officers ended up on hand Wednesday for the ribbon reducing ceremony of the Hendrick Heart for Automotive Excellence, located on Wake Tech’s Scott Northern Wake Campus.

The $42 million facility will let the higher education to triple the number of college students in its automotive methods technological know-how method and increase a new degree plan in collision fix.
